The journey to freedom for Asthma and Allergies. “I started feeling better around the end of the third week. I had fewer asthma and allergy episodes, higher energy and improved quality of life all around.”

At 5 I was diagnosed with Asthma and have dealt with it ever since. My seasonal allergies triggered asthma attacks. At the young age of 5, I wasn’t completely aware but my parents were upset, but they still placed their faith in God – my ultimate Healer. I have been hospitalized and had many sinus infections and constant seasonal struggle with allergies. Breathing was difficult; affecting exercise and playing as a child - with allergies, runny nose, stuffy nose, itchy eyes, sinus infections and scratchy throat. My allergies limited my time I spent outside. I couldn’t go camping with friends and I had to monitor my exercise. I saw many Physicians from 1998 to present; tried holistic medicine and Chiropractic care. I took a lot of drugs with their unwanted side effects. I took Allegra-D, Flonase, Prednisone, Advair, Symbicort, Pro-air and rescue inhalers. The Prednisone caused weight gain and the Pro-air caused shaking hands. I began taking these medications in 1998 and they only give me temporary relief of symptoms. I saw some benefits but not totally and was completely unsatisfied.

I searched for alternative medicine on the internet and found Natural Medicine Center. I believed in natural medicine and hoped to find relief that wasn’t temporary from my symptoms. I started treatments on May 1, 2012. My family and friends were very supportive. My family has always wanted to see me walk in total healing. My first impression of the clinic is that it’s neat, clean, professional, serene, peaceful and friendly staff. I received acupuncture, herbal medicine with nutrition and dietary guidelines. The acupuncture sessions were pain free and went smoothly thanks to the great staff! I started feeling better around the end of the third week. I had fewer asthma and allergy episodes, higher energy and improved quality of life all around. The dietary guidelines have had a big impact on the way I eat and evaluate my food choices and lifestyle. I have increased energy and improved quality of life!

The staff is friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. The medical staff is very knowledgeable, caring and helpful. I had trust in God and the skills He has given to the medical staff. I am very pleased and excited for what is to come. My friends and family are very grateful and thankful. I will refer others to Natural Medicine Center because I received such great results and feel everyone could benefit. I would tell them my personal experience and help them become motivated to try. My views have not changed; I am still aware of all the great benefits of natural medicine and now I am even more aware of the world of acupuncture and its benefits. Natural medicine is simple and effective without the harmful side effects. This is my journey to freedom from asthma and allergies.
