​​​​​​​I am 19 years old and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2006 when I was 12 years old. Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is an Auto-Immune Disease that attacks the colon and causes severe diarrhea and bleeding.

My Mom and Dad took me to many specialist doctors and all of them said that there is no cure for UC and they all wanted get me on Drugs! One doctor even recommended to have my colon removed. Yes – at 12 years old.

After my colonoscopy and diagnosis I ended up on medical steroids. The side effects of steroids are horrible (Major Face Swelling, acne, weight gain, etc..) We were not satisfied with what the doctors were saying and doing. We prayed and asked God to help us find a treatment. We found Dr. Kevin Huang and the Natural Medicine Center: Praise God for them!

My Dad saw an article in the paper for Natural Medicine and made an appointment for me to see Dr. Huang. When I first arrived I was miserable and was sick of seeing doctors and just wanted to be healthy again. When we sat down with Dr. Huang and he laid out a plan to get me back on track.

MY LIFE SAVER

Nine months ago, I was finishing a prescribed short-term diet change with a lot of fish and vegetables and started breaking out in itchy rashes all over my body. I thought it was an allergic reaction to seafood since I have lived with allergies all my life, and in my youth some seafood caused it.

For six months, I went in and out of urgent care and met with dermatologists, had steroid shots and pills, tried antibiotics, and multiple prescribed ointments. While some things offered temporary relief, the rashes kept coming back and were getting worse, particularly if I got any sun.

Then I found out more about the rash. It's extremely itchy, the western doctors named it Eczema, I can't go out in the sun, I can't get hot and sweaty, because all of which will cause more Rash and severe itching. In my despair, I wanted to see if Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture could help. One day as I surfed online, looking for solutions, Agape Natural Health website popped up. I read it carefully about Dr. Kevin Huang's medical background, experiences, and special training. I was very impressed by what they have achieved and done for the community as the 4th generation of the medical family. I dialed the number and made an appointment.

Three months ago, I started intensive treatment. Under Dr. Huang's guidance their treatment started showing result, my allergy condition was getting better. Beyond the acupuncture and herbs, his guidance included advice on what kind of clothes to wear and what to eat. This really helped!

Because of my worrying and anxiety over the rash, my blood pressure had gone up considerably. During treatments, I caught a bad cold and developed a sinus infection that was getting worse. I lost completely the sense of taste and smell. Dr. Huang again took care of it.

On April 5, 2024, I went in for a routine screening, fully aware of the importance of regular check-ups due to my history of a benign left breast core needle biopsy and a family history of breast cancer.

STAGE 4 COLON CANCER THAT SPREAD TO MY LIVER- GASTROINTESTINAL STROMAL TUMOR (GIST)

When I first saw Dr. Kevin Huang, my prognosis was dim. I was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to my liver and a rare gastrointestinal stromal tumor. I had undergone surgery for the colon cancer and was put on a type of chemo that made me  sick. I lost a lot of weight and was extremely anxious and depressed. I had never been treated with acupuncture before and was hesitant to add yet another treatment to my protocol, but I was desperate to find help. 

Dr. Huang immediately reassured me that “Aculove” was painless and effective. My surgeon told me that I probably had a year if I did not do anything. I wanted to try a more holistic approach instead of just relying on traditional medicine and chemo. Dr. Huang’s methodology helped me to remain calm, sleep better, and gain weight while also lowering my CEA (cancer markers).  As a result, I was able to survive two more major surgeries and two additional chemotherapies. Even when I was recuperating from surgery, Dr. Huang kept in touch with me. Now that my scans reflect the good news that there is no evidence of cancer, I have returned to Dr. Huang’s care so that I can remain cancer free.
