BELLS PALSY | BEFORE
Our patients, seen in the photos, suffered from Bell’s Palsy, which is a form of facial paralysis resulting from damage or trauma to one of the two facial nerves. The facial nerve, also called the 7th cranial nerve, is a paired structure that travels through a narrow, bony canal (called the Fallopian canal) in the skull, beneath the ear, to the muscles on each side of the face. Symptoms of Bell’s Palsy, which vary from person to person and range in severity from mild weakness to total paralysis, may include twitching, weakness, or paralysis on one or both side of the face, drooping of the eyelid and corner of the mouth, drooling, dryness of the eye or mouth, impairment of taste, and excessive tearing in one eye. Natural medicine gives great results and healing for patients who suffer from Bell’s Palsy and other neurological disorders.*
BELLS PALSY | AFTER
Natural medicine is highly effective in treating neurological disorders. The is a difficult Bell’s Palsy case where it did not heal on its own, nor did it heal with other therapies or with other doctors. We were able to help him fully recover with the use of acupuncture, herbs and nutrition.*

2½ weeks after I started acupuncture, on a Sunday I felt my cheek move and everyday it’s getting better and better. I’m at 98%! It’s almost all good. My right eye is more open than the other eye but my mouth is like it was! I’m now the normal person I was before! I also noticed additional benefits such as my face looks better because I had acne, and I loss 16 lbs! Everyone is really friendly and it’s a nice atmosphere with nice people. I’m very happy! The results are great! Perfect! I expected these results and my friends and family are happy too. I believe with acupuncture, you get better. It’s helping me, it can help you too. Believe!*

5 Star Review by V.B., Yorba Linda, California: I came to Agape Acupuncture (literally in tears) from a bout of insomnia where I would wake up around 2 AM or earlier and not be able to get back to sleep. As a mother of two little ones this was very difficult and was taking a great toll mentally and physically. I was experiencing extreme fatigue and brain fog. I had already been diagnosed previously with adrenal fatigue the prior year and am on a specific detox/nutrition program, but the insomnia is a whole new beast. I’m a firm believer in natural medicine, herbs, and food as medicine but it takes a skilled healer(s) to apply these with good results. Plus everyone’s body is unique. Dr. Huang ran a simple diagnostic and was not surprised by the symptoms I was having based on the test results. Various organ systems were way out of balance. He prescribed a treatment plan and was quite confident that it could be of great help but would take time.
I am three months into my treatment plan with acupuncture and can say my sleep has improved 80% and keeps on improving. Ironically, I often fall asleep during a treatment as they are so relaxing! The rooms are very clean and calming. I still hit a few bumps in the road, but those days are becoming fewer so that tells me healing is occurring. Adrenal fatigue doesn’t happen overnight, so I don’t expect overnight healing.
You can tell Dr. Huang cares a great deal for his patients as does his staff. I believe Dr. Huang and Agape Acupuncture were an answer to prayer in my healing journey. He is Christian and gives God the glory for healing. He uses the wisdom of Eastern Medicine to treat the whole body. I will definitely be recommending Agape Acupuncture to friends and family. On a side note, the office is filled with patient testimonials of healing with a wide range of ailments/diseases and all different ages.
