On May 2015, I started having anxiety and Panic attacks, depression, heart palpitation, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, brain fog, lightheaded. I would wake up 3 times at night with heart palpitation. One day I was having lunch at work and I began to have heart palpitation, I began to panic thinking that might have a heart attack. In June 2014 I experienced a solid week of severe anxiety. I took medication, which relieved it but I felt like I could easily become dependent on it. I began acupuncture with a different provider.  After nearly three months I felt more downs than ups so as I decided to research acupuncture doctors in my area. I first visited Dr. Huang when I developed pain in my neck after exercising for P.E. I had waited a few weeks to see if it would go away, but it didn't. My mom had even taken me to see a chiropractor who specialized in the neck, but due to the amount of x-rays he wanted to take, my mom did not feel comfortable. As a result, she took me to see Dr. Huang.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2004. I could not believe it, and I didn’t want to die. I thought I was healthy, but I noticed that I would get tired easily and my bowel movements were once every 3 days. The diagnosis of cancer affected my work, home and personal life. I was in pain, I had depression and anxiety, and I could not do my regular activities. I thought of my family and me not being in their lives. I even thought about raising my insurance so that I could leave my kids financially stable. On April 5, 2004, the doctors gave me surgery to remove both breasts. ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION | INSOMNIA | WORRY AND FEAR | MENTAL HEALTH: A PATIENT'S EXPERIENCE WITH HERBS AND ACUPUNCTURE

On February 1st, 2013, patient RF came into Agape Natural Health seeking help for his anxiety, a mental health disorder characterized by an excessive feeling of worry, or fear that is strong enough to interfere with one’s daily activities, and for insomnia, a persistent problem of falling or staying asleep.

RF developed anxiety and insomnia during his early teen years when he experienced chest pain between the age of six through twelve years old. His chest pain would cause him to have shortness of breath and severe stinging pain as if a sharp stab to his chest with a dull ache. Unknown to his chest condition, over time, RF developed anxiety that accompanied by insomnia that prevented him from living his everyday life.

During RF initial consultation, he addressed his health concerns to Dr. Huang. RF experienced severe anxiety that caused him to have panic attacks, a sudden period of intense fear that triggers severe physical reactions when there is no real danger or apparent that provoked his heart to palpitate, have chest pain, sweat and shortness of breath with no control. His anxiety caused him to feel restless and fatigued that prevented him from sleeping and staying asleep. As Dr. Huang listened to RF health concerns, he recommended RF to take herbal supplements to improve his health and restore his balance. Dr. Huang also recommends that RF to follow-up once a week to see his progress. 

By consuming the herbal supplement as directed by Dr. Huang, RF did not experience any side effects. Unlike modern medicine, RF primary doctor prescribed him with Zoloft, a generic medication sertraline hydrochloride that is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that slows the reabsorption of the chemical serotonin in the brain. In hopes that Zoloft would help with his anxiety disorder, however, it's side effects caused RF to feel more tired, anxious, and sweat which interrupted his sleep. After a week of taking his herbal supplements daily, RF states that he hasn't had an anxiety attack or heart palpitation throughout a week.  

Over time, Dr. Huang increased RF herbal dosage, and as RF continued to take his herbal supplements and did his weekly follow-up as directed by Dr. Huang, RF health has tremendously improved each week as he visited the office. PAIN BELOW THE RIGHT RIB, DEPRESSION | Acupuncture for depression

Since 2013, I experienced stomach pain below my right rib, and I also suffered from depression. I was frustrated. After an ultrasound and CT scan, they didn’t find anything - only mild fatty liver. The medical doctors offered me only drugs and they recommended me to eat less acids and certain foods. But the pain was still there from July 2013 to June 2014.

On August 18, 2014, my bother Joel referred me to Dr. Kevin Huang at Agape Natural Health and my family were supportive and happy that I would try natural medicine. When I came to Agape Natural Health, I was very depressed from allergies, hemorrhoid and back problems. I had to take medication for about 2 years. My dad suffered depression because of his immune system being very low. I remember being in and out of the hospital because of his symptoms. He was unable to swallow liquids and food. He would get panic attacks and feel like he was unable to breathe. He would always be so tired and sometimes he would pass out. He lost weight do to him not being able to eat.
