Dr. Janet Yeh is a Primary Healthcare Provider, licensed by the California Acupuncture Board of Medical Quality Assurance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and holds a Doctorate of Science degree in Nutrition Counseling. She is a medical acupuncturist and herbal specialist - receiving extensive post-graduate training from senior physician, Dr. Shao-Lin Yeh, who has over 50 years of experience in medicine. Dr. Janet Yeh grew up in the medical field, surrounded by a family of doctors. Serving patients through natural medicine and working as a doctor is a long time tradition and a way of life.
While attending the University of California in San Diego and majoring in Biology, Dr. Janet Yeh worked in the emergency room of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California and in the Pediatrics Department at the UCSD Medical Center in patient care. Since then, she has graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science and Doctorate Degree in Nutrition Counseling from La Salle University.
Dr. Janet Yeh has written books and published numerous articles. She is the author and co-author of “Balanced Food Medicine”, “Seasonal Food Medicine”, “Personalized Food Medicine”, “Foods of Food Medicine”, “Natural Medicine Works”, “Never Alone”, and “Tai Chi Exercise”. She has lectured on the topics of Cancer and Nutrition, Diabetes and Nutrition, Pediatric Care, Geriatric Care, and Male and Female Reproductive System Care to patients as well as fellow post-graduates.
Dr. Janet Yeh is the vice-president and co-founder of Natural Medicine Company, Natural Medicine Clinic, Agape Herbs, Inc. and Agape Acupuncture, Inc. receives Best of Orange County award Best Acupuncture Acupuncturist & Herbalist.
The American Biographical Institute named Dr. Janet Yeh Woman of the Year in 1999, and she has also appeared in the millennium editions of the International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women and 1000 World Leaders of Influence. Dr. Yeh has earned the distinction of being an outstanding doctor in the field of natural medicine. In 2001, she was interviewed for an article on cancer and acupuncture (Chemo-puncture) by the Berkeley Medical Journal. Dr. Yeh has appeared in the Cambridge Who's Who and she is an honors edition lifetime member with her biography published nationally. She is also on the ABI's Research Board of Advisors.
