“I was Stage 4 head, neck, throat cancer that spread to my lungs, my survival was low and I am now free of cancer according to my last PET scan. The fact that they can’t see it on a scan is pretty amazing to me!”

I was diagnosed on August 5, 2013 with Stage 4 Head, Neck and Throat Cancer. I was scared and worried. My condition basically kept me locked down at home on my couch and it was lonely. It kept me fatigued all the time with a dry mouth and limited me from doing cardio. It limited me from going out in the sun and kept me from the beach and riding my bike. I suffered with this condition for 1 year.

I had radiation to the throat area, chemotherapy for 5 weeks - 1 every week during 24 radiation treatments to the throat. The second round was 1 every 3 weeks for 6 months. I had a throat tube put in because I couldn’t breath when I went into the ER, and I was there for a month. The tracheostomy tube did not come out for 4 months because the tumor was wrapped around my esophagus. When they took the tube out and did another scan, they found that the cancer had spread to my lungs. They did a needle biopsy and found out that it was the same from my throat and that it had spread. It was a cancerous lung nodule 8mm that spread from my throat.

I had 6 rounds of chemotherapy for the lungs. I was also on medications for pain for anxiety. I didn’t like any of it because the whole process of treatments made me miserable, and I had a lot of anxiety with the chemotherapy treatments. I was always a believer in natural remedies and I read a lot about it first. I came to Agape Natural Health on February 6, 2014 and found Dr. Huang to be knowledgeable and that they were really concerned about me and very supportive. I found the clinic to be fantastic with excellent customer service and a clean facility - sweet people over here, honest and reliable. I hoped to find healing of my cancer all the way naturally instead of with drugs. I started acupuncture treatments along with natural herbs and diet guidance.

After I started coming to Agape Natural Health, I have been getting better everyday and it is promoting to heal the body naturally. Socially, I can get out a little more and exercise more. FROM STAGE 4 COLON CANCER TO NO CANCER | THE WALKING MIRACLE!

“To this day March, 2014, I AM CANCER FREE AND I AM A WALKING MIRACLE!”

On August 6, 2012 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. I was in shock and disbelief. I was not feeling myself for a long time. My husband died of cancer 14 years ago. All I could think of was what we went through and I thought “I can’t go through it again.” I thought about my family; especially my daughter. All we have is each other. I decided to fight. I went to the doctor and blood tests were done. They found out I was severely anemic, my hemoglobin was at a 5, and I was bleeding internally; which explained my lack of energy and motivation. Then they sent me to a Hematologist and he ordered more blood work, X-Rays, and a Ultrasound. Finally he ordered a CAT Scan. It revealed a huge mass on the left side against my abdomen cavity. The cancer had perforated the colon and began to grow and you could see it on the doctors face that they were like, “Wow! What are we dealing with here?” Right away they told me I would have to have transfusions.

He decided to keep me in the hospital overnight. This all happened in one afternoon; I had to call my daughter to let her know I was being admitted. She was in tears and shock, we never saw it coming. I will never forget the look on her face and what she said to me, “We are going to fight it and we are going to beat it!” I had a Colonoscopy 2 days later and discovered it was Stage 4 Colon Cancer. It affected every part of my life. I was not myself at all. I was depressed. All I wanted to do or could do was sleep. I had been feeling this way for a very long time - 5 years. I had no desire to do anything. I started bleeding internally and that’s when they found the cancer. I just was so exhausted. I would wake and I was already tired. I was just tired, tired, tired.

My daughter spread the word for prayer while sharing with a friend (a patient of Dr. Kevin Huang’s). She told her, "you must take your mom to Dr. Huang". I know he can help her! Immediately after my Colonoscopy, my daughter called Dr. Huang on her cell. Right after the Colonoscopy my daughter brought me here and it made me feel 100% better, and I actually got relieved when I got here. It was really peaceful and comforting. On August 6, 2012, I began treatments of acupuncture and herbal medicine. I really didn’t have any expectations. I just thought I would try it. I mean after all I was Stage 4. My daughters’ friend said you could trust him. What makes it better is that he’s a believer. He prayed with us and said I needed to start a diet change. I had acupuncture the same day. I could not believe the difference. You have to remember I was on my death bed and it felt good when I came here. I felt like a new person. I had so much energy and felt great. I also received 25 treatments of chemotherapy and radiation together every day, while I was receiving acupuncture.

I had consultation for surgery on August 16th 2012. I was told it would be 6-8- hr surgery, I would need blood transfusions (due to my low hemoglobin), and more than likely I would have a Colostomy bag. A day prior to my surgery my hemoglobin was up to 9 (thank you Jesus and Dr. Huang). The night before the surgery, the surgeon called and said she felt comfortable doing the surgery without transfusions. All my other labs were also normal and that was due to acupuncture. I wasn’t taking any medications or anything. I underwent a 10-hr surgery Splenectomy, liver biopsy, 2 ribs removed and my diaphragm re-arranged. As soon as I came out of anesthesia, my Surgeon was so excited and with tears in her eyes she told me, “Great news honey! No colostomy bags and no transfusions! You did wonderful!” Praise God!

I was in the hospital 10 days. As soon as I was discharged my daughter brought me back to Dr. Huang. I was weak and frail, still had 4 drain tubes and could barely walk. I felt so at peace and energized physically and mentally every time we came here. Dr. Huang always prayed with us and his staff is so caring. (Love you girls) My daughter continued to faithfully bring me to the treatments. December, I started my chemotherapy and radiation treatments. I truly believe the acupuncture help you cope with the chemotherapy and radiation. At the end of the treatments they did blood work and a CAT Scan and found that I was cancer free! It has been a year, cancer free. And I still continue with my acupuncture treatments. I thank God, Dr Huang and his loving and kind staff for saving my life. I am truly a miracle!

I just remember sitting in the waiting room waiting to receive my treatments of chemotherapy and radiation and the looks on the people’s faces were sad and they complained of nausea and all the complications they were having and I just remember being so grateful to be coming here. I wouldn’t say I was a firm believer before coming here. I knew of natural medicine but I just never had the opportunity to try it. I really enjoy the way he prays with you first before the acupuncture treatments. I’ve never seen anybody like that before – just right in the open he just prays for you. One day he just got right down on his knees and prayed. I will never forget this. After the first treatment I was so energetic. I came everyday for almost a week prior to my surgery. I literally left here jumping and skipping. There isn’t one day that I have come here and I leave feeling sad. I leave feeling uplifted. It helped me cope better mentally and emotionally.

At my follow-up appointment, I was referred to my Oncologist. He suggested I have 25 Chemo + Radiation treatments simultaneously everyday as precaution. I thank God and Dr. Huang's faithful care. I slowly regained my strength and began 30 min walks in Oct. I started walking early November and I started to walk for 30 mins to 1 hr. (I now walk for hours and do Aqua Fitness regularly). Around the middle of April 2018, I had been experiencing an increase in mental and physical fatigue, and I attributed it partly to my busy workload, but also to the Fibromyalgia I had been diagnosed with more than twenty-one years ago. Fibromyalgia, in some sense, if any medical professional can make, is a syndrome consisting of chronic pain throughout the body, nerve problems, mental distress, fatigue, brain fog, muscle stiffness and a whole other giant list of not-so-fun symptoms that seem to be treated mainly with the occasional anti-depressant. (My fellow Fibromyalgia friends know of this all too well.) I considered this to be one of my seasonal “flare-up,” as I had grown to call them, but I was concerned that this time around seemed to be causing me more fatigue than usual. In recent years, I had also been tested twice for Lupus, but, thankfully, both tests were negative, and I had also been told that I had both Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, as well as Epstein-Barr Virus. I speculated that the latter were also contributing to my increased fatigue, but I really felt I needed to seek out medical treatment to see if it would help ease some of my symptoms.

Never a big fan of taking medications, whether over-the counter or prescribed, as these would often make me feel worse, I believed in more holistic approach to healing. For this flare-up, I felt compelled to do some research via the Internet for doctors who were familiar with treating Fibromyalgia, and I came across a website for Dr. Kevin Huang and Agape Natural Health (“Agape”). After reading many of the testimonials on the website for Agape, especially the ones by people who got relief for Fibromyalgia, I became filled with hope that maybe acupuncture was exactly what I needed, and so I immediately made an appointment with Agape for the following week.

Coincidentally, during the same time, one of the symptoms I had been suffering from was a strange ulcer on my tongue. I recall noticing the ulcer shortly after eating some walnuts one day while I was at work, and immediately after eating them, I felt a pain resembling that of a bee sting on my tongue. It was incredibly odd and concerning. A few nights later, I also had bitten my tongue during the middle of one night while I was asleep, which only added to the pain of the already-developed ulcer. I had never previously been allergic to walnuts, and tongue ulcers were never something I got when I had my Fibromyalgia flare-ups, so my cause for alarm continued to escalate. For many days, I tried various things to see if the ulcer would disappear- salt water and mouth rinses, canker-sore treatments, those dreaded medications, etc.- but, absolutely nothing was helping to decrease the pain or size of the ulcer. So, during the same time frame I'd be seeing Dr. Huang at Agape Natural Health, I was also already scheduled to have appointments with my regular doctor, a dentist, as well as an ENT, to determine what was going on inside my mouth.

My husband had accompanied me on most visits to Agape, including the very first one, whereupon Dr. Huang and all his staff were so friendly and welcoming. (Special side note - the doctor and the staff at Agape have continuously been warm and welcoming.) Prior to having my first acupuncture treatment, Dr. Huang consulted with my husband and I and asked all sorts of questions about my reasons for coming in.  I had informed Dr. Huang of my history with Fibromyalgia and the onset of fatigue I'd been experiencing, but I also pointed out to him about the ulcer on my tongue and that I was waiting for to be seen about it by various doctors. Dr. Huang took copious notes on everything, and he looked at my tongue specifically and noted his concern that the ulcer on my tongue might, in fact, be cancerous. Of course, this caused me some further fear, but Dr. Huang made me feel at ease, in that, he had helped many patients in the past who had all different forms of cancer, and many of those people ended up being cancer-free after being treated, both with the acupuncture and modern medicine, like chemotherapy and radiation.

In conclusion of the consultation with Dr. Huang, I then had my first acupuncture treatment at Agape and remember that it was a very pleasant experience. From the nice décor of the room I was in, to the soothing music playing over the loud speaker, to hardly noticing the pins placed on my body, I felt a sense of calm. Even after the appointment was over, and throughout the day, I felt very relaxed. I especially needed this, given the increasing amount of stress I was going through, trying to resolve the ever-growing concern over my tongue. Dr. Huang also had me begin taking two different types of herbal supplements on a daily basis in order to strengthen my immune system and had suggested some food therapy. Within the first week of following this regimen, I noticed that some of my fatigue had dissipated.

Shortly thereafter, after receiving multiple opinions from multiple doctors, it was determined, in fact, that the ulcer on my tongue was State III Squamous Cell Carcinoma. At the very least, this provided me with an explanation for the onset of my incredible fatigue but also for the reason why nothing was helping to shrink the ulcer on my tongue. To say the least, I was scared to death with the diagnosis. The Big C. What did all this mean? What could the outcome be? So many unanswered questions did I have. From the third opinion I'd received from a specialist/surgeon at UCI Medical, I was told, at the very least, that I'd need in-hospital surgery to hopefully remove the cancer from my tongue. This meant having to have at least 1/2 of my tongue removed, but the surgeon explained to me that he would not truly know how much of my tongue for sure would need to be removed until the actual surgery itself. I'd also most likely have to have removal of some of my lymph nodes from my neck in the same region as the cancer on my tongue, but I wouldn't know whether I'd need chemo therapy or radiation at the time and/or following the surgery. This created a whole other gamut of fear and unanswered questions, not to mention the wreaking of more havoc and stress on my body from all the anxiety.

When my husband and I met with Dr. Huang next, we shared with him the terrifying diagnosis, and he immediately grabbed my hand and my husband's hand, and he prayed for me and asked God for help in healing me. Dr. Huang also offered further words of encouragements to help put my mind at ease. He and his staff then decided to completely change course of treatment on me to assist with the healing process and preparation of my upcoming surgery. Dr. Huang's sincerest concerns truly touched my heart.

Fast forward to September 20, 2018, when I had the intense surgery. I feel lucky and blessed to say that I only needed the 1/3 of tongue removed as my surgeon suggested at the minimum, and that the margin were clean beyond the portion removed. I also only had 19 of my lymph nodes removed from my neck and found out ten days later that the pathology reports showed that the cancer had not spread (NO SIGN OF CANCER). It goes without saying that I was beyond thrilled and incredibly relieved, but mostly grateful to God and all the love and care I'd been shown by so many people around me. This, of course, included Dr. Huang and his staff, and I couldn't wait to share the amazing news with them. When I had, I was dubbed a miracle, and Dr. Huang affectionately calls me that each time he now sees me. Thank you so much, Dr. Huang. 

As for any person who might read my testimonial, I'd like to say that I am a true believer in acupuncture and more natural forms of healing, like those of the herbal supplements provided by Agape. Not to say that there's not benefit to modern medicine, too, because there is, and they helped save me, too. But, I honestly feel that the treatments I'd been receiving at Agape, along with the positive reinforcements, kept my body strong to not only get through the surgery, but that it all helped in keeping the cancer more localized, rather from it spreading further. God is good and in the business of healing, even in our modern times. In September of 2010 I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. I was told I needed surgery ASAP. Ten days later the surgeon removed one kidney. The doctor told me I

was healed, however, in April 2011 a new CT scan revealed three new cancer spots, now on my pancreas. At this time I started to look into natural solutions.

The Lord led me to Agape Natural Health. I am convinced it is the work of the Lord. I live 55 miles away and we have many doctors who practice acupuncture in our area. When my wife and I met Dr. Huang and his office staff for the first time we were convinced that this was the place we needed to come for help.

I started in May of 2011 with acupuncture, herbs and Dr. Huang gave me advice on diet and exercise. My life has changed drastically. My food intake is entirely different from what it was before, including a much more fruit and vegetables and a much healthier lifestyle overall.

In July of 2011 a new CT scan revealed that the cancer spots had disappeared. This was also true for the next several CT scans. I am on medication from the regular doctor, however, the oncologist is surprised by the progress I am making. In our last visit she told me I was in complete remission and the side effects of the medicine are minimal.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE | STAGE 4 CANCEROUS BRAIN TUMOR | FREE FROM CANCER | GOD’S PROVIDENCE AND HIS USE OF ACUPUNCTURE VIA DR. HUANG TO PROMPT HEALING

On May 3, 2011 I was diagnosed with a Stage 4 cancerous brain tumor. This was totally unexpected for I never had headaches or symptoms that would have led me to believe something was amiss until the last few weeks of April 2011. At that time I was having an equilibrium problem as well as headaches. I was living up north in Walnut Creek, CA with my wife but had been having follow up appointments at UCI Medical Center for a previous bout with sinus cancer in 2002. That surgery was done at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco but because of a job transfer to Southern CA my follow up was done at UCI. I was in Tustin visiting family when I saw my ENT at UCI and told him of my symptoms he suggested a CT scan, which I had, and it revealed the tumor. I was back in Walnut Creek when the results of the scan were made known to me.

On May 3rd my wife and I rushed down to UCI and I was admitted and after more testing it was determined that it was Stage 4 Cancer. The surgical removal of the tumor took place on May 5th. In God’s providence the timing of all this and the success of the surgery was a blessing from
Him to say the least. The Doctors at UCI were puzzled trying to determine where these tumors had come from. The pathology reports from the tumor indicated it was the same type as colon cancer. I was sent to the Oncology Doctor to begin an aggressive Chemotherapy treatment. Pet scans reveled five tumors, four in my lungs and one near my liver. The chemo really began to wreck havoc on my body not only from the residual effects of the treatment but because of the previous sinus cancer surgery and radiation in 2002 another problem arose. The scar tissue in my mouth which hadn’t given me a problem for years was affected and the mouth / jaw began to swell and close up. I couldn’t speak or eat without pain and I was losing weight at an alarming rate.

Thus enter Dr. Huang. A friend of my daughters had told her of the amazing results she experienced at Agape and my daughter suggested maybe acupuncture might help. I was desperate and had been asking the Lord to give me guidance as to what I should do. I wanted to be in the center of His will and knew He could heal me outright or use Doctors and medicine to accomplish His will for me. In His providence He led me to meet with Dr. Huang and I was so impressed with his professionalism and that of his staff that I knew God had led me to Agape Natural Health. So what happened? Through acupuncture, the care of Dr, Huang and his staff, the herbs and teas I took and a special cancer preventative diet here is what transpired:

• I was able, through acupuncture, to weather the onslaught of the chemo with better than expected recovery between chemo infusions and the acupuncture kicked my immune system into gear.

Good Afternoon to you!  I trust all is well with you and your staff.  I just wanted to take a moment of reflection with you and thank you for the amazing care and treatment that your Clinic has been to me.

As you recall, last June 2017, I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in my colon.  Subsequent tests that month, showed all sorts of problems with my body and blood tests confirmed that I had a genetic defect in my colon. My Colonoscopy back in June showed around 60 to 70 polyps.

Sept 2017 had me in the operating room to remove the cancer and surrounding tissue and I was out of the hospital in 6 days.  At that time, I was diagnosed with Stage 3A Colon Cancer and needed to start chemotherapy right away.

Through the next 7 months of healing and chemo, the Therapy that Agape Acupuncture provided through your clinic was just great in getting me thru that troubling experience.  I still remember being told by the doctors that my blood platelets were to low and I would need a blood transfusion. You were quick to add more Chinese Herbs, directed at that deficiency and within 1 week, my platelets zoomed up, so that I didn’t need a transfusion. That was a huge “sigh of relief”.

Thru the months of pain, sickness and fears, the prayers that you provide each time that I was in your office, were just soothing to the soul as the rest of the treatment was to my body.  

As the months went on, you and your staff were just amazing in handling my chemo and your therapy at the same time. I remember all those days, where there were tubes coming out of my arm, filled with Chemo, and your staff never made fun of me and they always treated me with dignity and respect.  

My Chemotherapy ended in Mid-March of 2018, and I have continued with my Acupuncture and Chinese herbs, now dealing with the post-chemo side effects.

2 Subsequent blood tests and body scans show my body is returning to normal.  And there are lingering effects of Chemotherapy that will go away over time.

I am so thankful that God brought us together, you as the doctor and me as the patient.  It has been an amazing ride.

The Saga Continues…. Updated 01-30-2019

Since writing the above testimonial back in June 2018, I have continued to see Dr. Huang and receive acupuncture treatments (weekly) and continuing the Chinese Herbs regiment (daily).  Every 3 months via Kaiser Permanente Health Care, I go thru a battery of blood tests, that are measuring all sorts of aspects on the health of my blood.  All subsequent blood tests so far, have seen my blood levels come back to normal.  The BIGGEST test for cancer is the Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test.  It is a blood test used to help diagnose and manage certain types of colon cancers.  These scores have all be in the acceptable range as well.  This is the blood test that keeps me up at night, so far, so good!

I am so grateful for Dr. Huang and his staff, Thankful to God for a longer life expectancy, and Thankful for all the prayers that have been offered to God for me.  I am humbled by this amazing 3 pack Powerful Dynamic!

On October 31, 2014, I started bleeding and then had testing done. I was diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer. I came here first for the bleeding. I knew I needed herbal medicine and acupuncture and on November 3rd, 2014, I started natural medicine treatments. Most people that know me know I do acupuncture and they also are into acupuncture. I believe in it. I used to do acupuncture; it’s good for relaxation stress release.

I had to bypass the fear that most people have and said “What do we do to fix it?” First they had to remove the growth. I had surgery on December 8th, 2014 and it was a hysterectomy. From the operation, I couldn’t do certain things, due to rebuilding myself to be able to lift and drive for a month or so. Then we had to do chemotherapy which lasted from the 3rd week of January, 2015 to May 13th, 2015. I chose the port chemo, which is the stronger one for my abdomen. Kaiser also prescribed to me stool softeners and nausea medication. I had 6 cycles each with 3 treatments of chemotherapy and then kept coming here for acupuncture 3 times a week. The acupuncture gives you that feeling of peace.

I am feeling good. Neighbors noticed how good I look and that I am strong. Chemo is very hard on the body. Everybody reacts differently. Chemotherapy breaks you down, so the acupuncture helped me from being broken down. Everybody said I look very good and that the natural medicine treatment has something to do with it. Nurses said it too. My body was strong enough to keep fighting. The acupuncture worked hand in hand with chemo and helped me balance the flow of energy to get you into that point.

The staff are all wonderful, fantastic and very caring and the clinic is well organized. I have referred my neighbor - her sister. I felt that it would help her. I always think that there are natural ways to take care of situations. I always thought to eat the right foods and you can keep yourself out of a lot of situations. The doctors also stressed diet for my condition. I encourage others to read some good information and give it a try. I’m always preaching it. Just got to believe. There’s always hope.

When I first came to the Agape Natural Health, I wasn’t even thinking cancer. I came because I had a lump in my salivary gland. But God working through Dr. Huang convinced me to go see a medical doctor for a proper diagnosis, before he would treat me. It was then that I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Tonsil Cancer in October 2010. I went into shock; I was overwhelmed with fear – not knowing what to do next. I had a mass on my neck the size of a golf ball. I had to stop working, no social life and I had sores in my mouth, tongue and throat.  

The ENT gave me 2 choices: chemo/radiation or surgery. To surgically remove the tumor he would have to dig out the cancer followed by reconstructive surgeries and tubes for drainage. The ENT wanted to try chemo/radiation first. I underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatments together with natural medicine. I began acupuncture and herbs at Agape Natural Health from December 2010 to March 2011. I hoped that the natural medicine would strengthen me to get through the modern medicine chemo/radiation and restore me back to health. The three types of treatments worked together. My Oncologist prescribed me very strong pain medication that I was supposed to take 2 every 4 hours but I did not want to be a zombie, so I took only 2 a day. I believe acupuncture helped with that. I had a g-tube so I could not eat solid foods. I also had a biopsy surgery to make sure the cancer didn’t spread. It was hard, it wiped me out physically but I had to trust God through it all.

It was a long journey and feeling better did not start right away because I was doing chemotherapy and radiation at the same time. My friends and family were supportive but my husband was resistant about natural medicine until he spoke with Dr. Huang. I felt a peace and God’s presence here at this clinic. I was able to keep my strength up and I was told I would experience depression during the chemotherapy and radiation. But getting treatments here helped me with that. Because of the chemotherapy and radiation I was told I could lose at least 40 lbs but because of receiving acupuncture and herbs, I was able to maintain my weight and stay strong. Natural medicine assisted my body in healing naturally.

I’m back to normal and I’m back at work. My friends and family are pleased and happy. God has blessed me with a lot of clients. I am very happy, ecstatic! On December 20, 2011, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, and it spread to my lymphoid and bones. I was living a healthy life - never smoked, drank, or did drugs, so this was unexpected. My illness made me stressed out and tired, and I was unable to get good rest. I was in denial at first, but then I began to put myself back together and look for a solution. PANCREATIC CANCER STAGE 3 METASTASIZED TO LIVER | BELIEVE IT OR NOT

In August 2010, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and it spread to my liver. In September 2010 I had surgery to remove the tumor. My eyes were yellow. I felt like I was hit by a train at 200 mph and this illness changed my life completely. It affected my state of mind knowing that the outcome for 95% of the people with this same disease die within the first year. I was a very active person with interests for doing different things. It was like someone came and extinguished my light for life. I no longer had an interest to keep going forward. In October 2010 I had Whipple surgery (also known as pancreaticoduodenectomy - this procedure involves removal of the head of the pancreas next to the first part of the small intestine. It also involves removal of the duodenum, a portion of the common bile duct, gallbladder, and a portion of the stomach. Surgeons then reconnect the remaining intestine, bile duct, and pancreas.) From April 2011 – August 2012 I was put on chemotherapy. The side effects from Chemotherapy were numbness in my feet, nausea, and sores in my mouth. It was really bad and painful. The Chemotherapy was supposed to wipe out the tumor but it grew.

Two years ago, I came to see Dr. Kevin Huang. But I was skeptical and didn’t trust natural medicine, so I decided to do the Whipple surgery and Chemotherapy instead. The drugs and surgeries failed and my cancer went from Stage 1 to Stage 3 and it spread to the liver. From May 2012 to August 2012, CT Scan report and scientific instruments showed that the tumor grew, and it was now attached to the artery. The tumor was life-threatening and inoperable. On August 23, 2012, I decided to come back to Dr. Huang and start acupuncture treatments and herbs. I came because I knew someone with a tumor in her pancreas and she had received acupuncture and her tumor shrank 17 ml. I stopped Chemotherapy completely and was on natural medicine only from August 2012 to October 2012. During the treatments, Dr. Huang was very supportive through his knowledge and so was the medical staff at Agape Acupuncture, Inc. However, I remained skeptical and negative about recovery because this disease is very silent. I thought for sure I was getting worse and going to die. Dr. Huang told me to base things on fact and not on feeling and to wait for the next CT Scan and lab tests.

On October 30, 2012, my new CT Scan report and scientific instruments confirmed that my tumor shrank nearly 50% one dimension one side. It went from 37mm to 20mm from August 15, 2012 to October 12, 2012. The UCI Oncologist Chief Surgeon confirmed that the tumor shrank and it separated from the artery. Now there is an option for surgery and there are no new lesions. Seeing the results on paper that my tumor had shrank brought me comfort and my state of mind was renewed somewhat. My tumor is not completely gone but I feel I am on the right path. The fact that my tumor has shrunk has been the best news since my diagnosis.

I wasn’t a firm believer in natural medicine before coming here and I wasn’t sure that acupuncture would help. I see light at the end of the tunnel. Natural medicine helped reduce my tumor. The evidence is the proof. I have more energy and I lost weight. My friends and loved ones are happy for me, and I have already referred someone to Agape Acupuncture. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2004. I could not believe it, and I didn’t want to die. I thought I was healthy, but I noticed that I would get tired easily and my bowel movements were once every 3 days. The diagnosis of cancer affected my work, home and personal life. I was in pain, I had depression and anxiety, and I could not do my regular activities. I thought of my family and me not being in their lives. I even thought about raising my insurance so that I could leave my kids financially stable. On April 5, 2004, the doctors gave me surgery to remove both breasts. They also prescribed drug medications and sleeping pills. The mastectomy was not a guarantee so they gave me chemotherapy as well. My name is J.J. and I began seeing Dr. Huang in July 2012. I was referred to him from a friend who began helping me with some stubborn health issues I had. For one, I had stage 2-3 bladder cancer, emphasis on HAD because thanks to Dr. Huang’s amazing touch it is now gone from my CT Scan’s. “The Walking Miracle” - Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)

Stepping into Agape Acupuncture for the first time, the thing that struck me the most was the beauty of the clinic. Then, the friendly staff greeted me and brought me in for my first treatment. 

That was two years ago and I have been going in for acupuncture treatments ever since. When I first came in to the clinic, I had just finished a battle with Leukemia (AML with a FLT 3 mutation) and had to undergo three rounds of chemo and two bone marrow transplants because the first one had failed. I still remember when the doctor said I’d have only two months to live. As a result of all this strain on my body, I came out cancer free, but with chronic graft vs host disease. I had low platelets which resulted in constant bloody noses that were pretty annoying to deal with on a day to day basis. To deal with this, my doctors required me to get weekly platelet infusions just to keep my platelets around 20 which is still very low. I also had a damaged liver and my overall facial complexion was much darker than normal. After coming to Dr. Huang, for treatment, my platelets, liver, and complexion have all gotten better. I have definitely been able to enjoy life much more because of this. When I first got here, I constantly worried about the next time I’d get a bloody nose out of nowhere because they took a while to stop or if my facial complexion looked fine. Now, I feel much more relaxed about my nose and facial complexion since they have both recovered close to normal, which makes me excited for the future. I haven’t even had to get a platelet infusion in a very long time! I would just like to thank Dr. Huang and the staff here for always being super friendly and helping me out with the acupuncture.

“I WENT TO GET A CT SCAN WHICH CAME BACK NEGATIVE AND BLOOD WORK SHOWED NO SIGNS OF CANCER.”

In May 2012, I was diagnosed with Colon Rectal Cancer. I was depressed and very sad when I found out the diagnosis. I had to stop working and I had weakness and nervousness. My bowel movements were abnormal and I lost more than 30 lbs in three weeks. I also had 3 operations in 3 weeks. I had a colonoscopy in June 2012. A tumor was found and it was cancerous. I had an ultrasound to find out what stage it was; it was Stage I. A second tumor was found behind it; that tumor was Stage III and it was breaking through my lymph nodes. I had one session of chemotherapy in August 2012. I also tried home remedies. I had a rectal operation to remove the cancerous tumor. I had a second operation to remove the second tumor that was going into my lymph nodes. The chemotherapy only made me weaker and more depressed and I couldn’t have radiation or more chemo due to an infection in the incision.

I started coming to Agape Natural Health in July 30, 2012. My wife saw the clinic on the internet and we read some of the testimonies of how it helped other people. WOW! There were a lot of patients; I met the staff and saw that they were polite and caring. I wanted to get stronger and for my cancer to go away. My family and friends were very supportive. I was somewhat of a believer in natural medicine before coming here - you hear all kinds of stuff. I was not 100% sure but I decided to give it a try.

At Agape Natural Health I received acupuncture and herbal teas. I started feeling better in about 3 weeks after starting my treatments here. I had increased energy and my appetite came back. My home life has improved and I can spend time with my family. I went to get a CT scan which came back negative and blood work showed no signs of cancer. I had to stop chemotherapy because of the infection in the incision but now my cancer is gone, so I will not have to do chemotherapy.
