I went to emergency room where nothing was done. I then went to a back "specialist" who gave me no information but a lot of potent drugs. A friend, P.B., recommended I try acupuncture and referred me to Agape Acupuncture.
The first week of February I had my first appointment with Dr. Huang. I needed a wheelchair and had great pain and difficulty getting on the table. Process was easy, and everyone involved was calm with positive energy. I continued sessions 3 times per week and after the second week was beginning to feel results. On the 3rd week I threw away the drugs given to me by the "specialist" and put all my faith into the acupuncture. My Name is Paulette, I was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease, I knew that one day I would be on dialysis; Which I have been for seven years. I have had many painful surgeries but on January 31, 2017 I had Carpal Tunnel Surgery and when I awoke from the surgery I couldn't move my left hand at all. I was in excruciating pain like I have never felt before. My wrist and hand were so swollen I couldn't touch or do anything. I really like it – I really like the doctor. I feel like he had better advise and understanding of my condition and getting to the root cause. I understand the natural method of healing to be - the process to heal someone that channels through their body and finding the root cause. So six months ago, I decided to give acupuncture a try. I was skeptical at first and wasn’t sure it would help. But the way I saw it was it couldn’t hurt to try. It’s natural and safe so if it didn’t work, I would just be right back where I started, not any worse. So I gave it a go. The staff and doctor - just everyone was super nice and comforting. They couldn’t be more kind. You really feel at home there. And don’t worry about the needles. The needles didn’t hurt at all, you can barely feel them. IMAGING CENTER FINDINGS - 12/06/11: MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Brain and Head CT SCAN confirmed “There is a 1.5 x 1.0 cm ring-enhancing lesion in the right parasagittal frontal lobe with surrounding vasogenic edema. The finding is suspicious for a solitary metastasis.”
Six months later I went in for a head and body PET scan. Those test results showed no evidence of a brain lesion or any abnormal activity in the brain. There is simply small scar tissue that that the doctors find unremarkable.

The first time I searched for an Acupuncturist, on the internet, I found Dr. Huang. This method of healing was suggested to me by a dear friend in Utah. He saw it was in OC and made mention that it was an hour drive, and I said to him "I am willing to drive across the world if it means I will never have this again" He agreed and handed me my phone to make the call (even making a call was a huge task for me). When I did, the clinic was already closed, so I left a message and on Monday they returned my call and scheduled me for my free consultation. On my first appointment, my husband had to almost carry me in the clinic as I could barely walk or breathe and I was in tears.
