PSORIASIS SYMPTOMS: Plaque Psoriasis is a widespread type of psoriasis. It characterized by thick plaque, patchy, red rashes. The rashes are oval to circular in shape; with white, silvery scales. Psoriasis often shows up on the lower back, elbows, scalp and knees. This chronic inflammatory skin condition is not contagious. aqVarious types of Psoriasis are (eg, Psoriasis, Nails; Guttate Psoriasis; Psoriatric Arthritis; Psoriasis, Pustular. Psoriasis is more prevalent in adults than in children.

ACUPUNCTURE TO BENEFIT PSORIASIS: Acupuncture causes the anti-inflammatory mechanisms to release and it reduces the redness associated with psoriasis. Acupuncture also reduces stress and anxiety which are triggers of psoriasis. Acupuncture is also safe because disposable sterile needles are used in the treatment of acupuncture. Also, there are no harmful or discomforting side effects such as those listed above for the treatment of psoriasis. There are also topical herbal creams and herbal supplement that can be used in the treatment of psoriasis and all are prescribed by a licensed acupuncturist. All herbs should be taken under the care of a Licensed Acupuncture to ensure maximum results and compliance. Natural medicine is used to treat the root of the disease and not the symptomatic manifestations of the underlying cause.

The next morning her face wasn't bright red as it usually was when she woke up! She looked so much better and acted so happy (I'm sure she had been in some pain and even tho she was a sweet good natured baby it had to hurt to smile)

And by the time her patents came back from their weekend away at 1:30, she was 80-90% better!!! Oh my goodness what a miracle Dr. Kevin!! :-)

Her parents were shocked and were elated to see their baby so happy and almost completely healed!!! They couldn't get over the miraculous change since they left her with me just 2 days earlier! I had struggled with a bad case of Eczema, in which itchy red sores appeared all over my skin. After visiting five different doctors over the course of a year, I found that none of them could help me. One of them gave me a cream to help relieve the itching, but it was bad for my skin in other ways.

I came to Agape Acupuncture on the suggestion of my pastor's wife, whose friend had a good experience here. The treatment wasn't what I was used to - acupuncture sessions, dieting, herbal pills, and a natural cream that wouldn't harm my skin. However, within a few months, I could see dramatic improvement.
