June 2012 I was diagnosed with Chronic Congestion and Allergies. It was something I had to deal with and I had no idea how it developed. As a child I had allergies and as an adult I had them during the spring time for a week or two. Every morning when I woke up, I would need to cough up some phlegm, and I got tired of having to do that. I saw my G.P. and he recommended me to see an allergist. The MD prescribed Flonase and I felt that it did not help. The treatments lasted from July 2012 – August 2012 and it was ineffective. I was willing to accept that this condition was not going to go away. I had made an appointment to see an allergist but came to see Dr. Kevin Huang first so I cancelled my appointment for the allergist.
I was referred by a friend. She raved about the treatments and Dr. Huang. On September 29, 2012, I began coming to Agape Acupuncture, Inc. hoping to get better. My friends and family were supportive. I thought it was very professional the staff, friendly and I like Dr. Huang’s bedside manners. I was impressed by the large volume of herbs on the shelf – that spoke to me that the clinic did a large volume of business.
I was very open to natural medicine and I knew the healing ability of the body and I was open to other modality. The treatments I received were herbs and acupuncture. I was very hopeful in getting my results. It was relaxing and I used the time to meditate and I have only experienced good effects from it.
