Within the first week of treatment my pain reduced and became slightly better. I kept getting treatment and taking herbs religiously from May until September. The healing did not come right away. It was a process and it was gradual. I still had many episodes of intermittent bursts that last anything from few seconds to minute. Now after months of treatment, I am completely pain free. In January 2017, I went to see a neurosurgeon, went through MRI and was diagnosed with TN. He gave me several options including open surgery from the back of my skull, and this freaked me out. I went home to think this surgery option through with my wife, and luckily, my wife found this alternative option through acupuncture.
