I remember tears started welling up when she told me it may be a challenge to get pregnant and with some women, it can cause infertility altogether. Realizing I might not get to experience one of the most fulfilling experiences in life, I felt crushed and hopeless. I was put on Metformin and a couple months later, started gearing up to get on fertility medication (Clomid).
